Dr. Zi-Jiang Chen, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is also a Distinguished Professor at Shandong University, and a Chief Physician at Reproductive Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University. She serves as the Director of the Institute of Women, Children and Reproductive Health at Shandong University, Chief Scientist of the National Key Laboratory of Reproductive Medicine and Offspring Health, the Director of the National Research Center for Assisted Reproductive Technology and Reproductive Genetics, Director of the Key Laboratory of Reproductive Endocrinology of the Ministry of Education, Director of the Shanghai Key Laboratory for Assisted Reproduction and Reproductive Genetics, and Executive Director and Special Envoy of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS). Dr. Chen’s interest focuses on Obstetrics & Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine and Genetics. In recognition of her work, Dr. Chen has received multiple awards, including the National Invention Pioneer Award, the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the National Innovation Award, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Science and Technology Progress Award, the Tan Jiazhen Life Sciences Achievement Award, and the Walter Futterweit Clinical Research Excellence Award, among others. Her research has been published in numerous respected journals, such as NEJM, Lancet, JAMA, BMJ, Nature, Science and Cell.
